Itinerary of the Tour of Morocco from Fes

Day 1: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

Beginning with a pick-up from the airport or your Fes lodging, the Tour of Morocco from Fes starts. Then, we travel to Meknes, the capital of the Ismailis and one of the imperial cities. We go to Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, Royal stables, granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

After lunch, we drive 30 kilometers to Volubilis to see the Roman remains. It has been properly kept because it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features various mosaics strewn about, as well as old pillars and archways.

After exploring the ruins, we continue north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, the Blue City of the Rif Mountains. The city is well-known for its blue-painted houses and lanes. Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat

Take your time exploring the blue city after breakfast. Then, across the Rif Mountains, we travel to Rabat. Rabat is one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the country’s current capital. It is situated on the Atlantic coast of northwest Morocco.

You will see the city’s highlights, such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

We leave Rabat after breakfast and travel down the coast to Casablanca. It is also Morocco’s largest metropolis and the country’s commercial hub. First, we’ll go to Hassan I Mosque, the continent’s second-biggest mosque.

Then, we go to the seaside in Casablanca. Finally, we travel inland to Marrakech, a red city and imperial city. Feel free to roam around the well-known Jemaa El-Fna plaza. Stay the night in a hotel or Riad.

Day 4: A guided tour of Marrakech

Following a full breakfast, we will see the sights of Marrakech with a local guide on this Tour of Morocco from Fes. The city is considered one of Morocco’s four imperial cities.

The tour includes visits to the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, as well as a stroll through Morocco’s biggest traditional souk. Following a lunch break in the Jemaa El-Fna plaza, you will see Marrakech’s largest mosque, the Koutoubia, and the Majorelle garden.

Finally, you may either return to your accommodation or explore Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

Day 5: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Early in the morning, we pick you up from your lodging in Marrakech and take a scenic drive across the High Atlas mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Following that, we go on to the famed Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a walled town designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in several films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and others, as well as television shows such as Game of Thrones. After lunch, we go to “The entrance of the desert” Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation await in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Rose valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, we will pick you up and take you to one of the studios where many movies have been shot before continuing to Rose Valley. In May, a Rose Festival is held when residents market their wares. Following that, we go to the Todra Gorges.

Then, we proceed through Touroug, Tinjdad, and Erfoud. Then we arrive at the Merzouga Sahara desert. To traverse the sandy desert, you will transfer to camels. You will be taken to the top of a high dune to see the sunset.

Continue to the camp and listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire beneath the great open sky of stars. Dinner and an overnight stay in a desert camp.

Day 7: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

You get up early in the morning to see the gorgeous sunrise in the middle of the desert. After breakfast, you return to Merzouga on camels, where your driver awaits.

We exit the desert to visit Rissani, Tafilalet’s old capital. Rissani, which has a big souk, is still a key commercial hub in the region. After a tour around Rissani souk, we travel to Erfoud and visit one of the fossilized marble factories.

Then, we travel down the Ziz River. We come to a halt to take in the panoramic panorama of the Ziz valley. After lunch in Midelt, we travel to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary Macaques. We go to Ifrane, which is known for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style residences.
