Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca in details:

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

That is when the Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca starts! In Casablanca, you will be picked up from the airport, the port, or your lodging. The largest and most important city in Morocco is regarded to be Casablanca.

The Hassan II mosque, the biggest mosque in Morocco, is the first place we’ll go. It’s situated on the western edge of the city. It is perched on a promontory with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. After a lunch break, we’ll tour the city and pay a visit to Casablanca’s famed seaside.

Your first night will be spent in a local hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

We travel to Rabat, the country’s capital today, after breakfast. Rabat was one of Morocco’s imperial towns. You will then see the city’s top attractions, such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya.

After a lunch break, we’ll go north through Ouazzane in the afternoon to reach the Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. The city is well-known for its white and blue-painted houses and lanes. Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis’ Roman Ruins – Meknes – Fes

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through Chefchaouen’s picturesque lanes after breakfast. We’ll go to Volubilis to see the Message antique Roman remains. It has been properly kept because it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features several exquisite mosaics spread throughout, as well as old pillars and archways.

After exploring the ruins, a 30-minute drive awaits us to get to Meknes. The city is regarded as the capital of the Ismailis and one of Morocco’s imperial towns. Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahry Souant basin, the Royal stable, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum are among the places we visit.

We’re off to Fes by the evening where you will stay at a Riad for the night.

Day 4: A guided tour of Fes

We’ll embark on a tour of the city’s highlights with a local guide on this Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca. Fes is an imperial city in Morocco as well as a cultural and religious center.

We start the day by going to the Royal Palace gate. Then there’s the well-preserved medieval Medina, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You’ll go to the Blue Gate, also known as Bab Boujloud, which serves as the entrance to the old Medina.

You must enter the Medina to visit the Tanneries, the Najarine fountain, and the Madrasa Bouanania. We also pay a visit to the Quaraouiyin mosque and university, the world’s oldest institution.

Afterward, we’ll leave the Medina to view the Jewish streets also known as “the Mellah”. In the afternoon, we will go to a medieval fortress for a wonderful view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Spend the night at your Riad.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga

We travel to Ifrane via Imouzzer after breakfast. The city is well-known for its frigid climate and Alpine-style houses. That is why it is known as Morocco’s Switzerland.

Our next trip is the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary macaques. You are invited to feed them while exploring the forest. Later, we’ll eat lunch in Midelt. We continue to Merzouga over the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz valley after halting for panoramic views.

We travel to Merzouga, where you may ride camels in the Saharan desert. You’ll stop to watch the sunset from the top of a high dune. Lastly, you arrive at the camp, which is a hybrid of basic nomadic tents and hotel magnificence.

You can dance around the campfire and listen to the rhythm of the Berber drums while stargazing beneath a huge open sky. Dinner and an overnight stay will be provided by your desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Prepare yourself for the beautiful sunrise by waking up early. Breakfast is given before returning to Merzouga on camels, where your driver awaits. We leave the desert to explore Rissani town, the former headquarters of the Tafilalet authority. Rissani is a vital regional commercial centre, with a thriving souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

We proceed to Erfoud after a visit of Rissani Souk to view one of the fossilized marble factories. Then we proceed via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm orchards to the Todra Gorges. The flow of the Todra River has carved a beautiful canyon through the mountains, producing a towering red cliff-sided valley ideal for rock climbers.

We go through Boumalne Dades to the Dades valley after a pause for lunch. With a view of the Dades valley, stopping at the “monkey fingers” rock formation is inescapable. At the end of the evening, you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay at a nearby hotel.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive on to Kalaa Magouna to see the Rose Valley. Residents offer rose items ranging from scents, rose water, and oil to cosmetics at the Rose Festival in May. We next make our way through Skoura’s palm orchards. We eventually arrive at Ouarzazate, often known as the Desert Gate. We’ll see the studios where famous films were created.

We make our way to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. It is a fortified village that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has also appeared in various films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Driving across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, we arrive at Marrakech where we’ll drop you off at either your accommodation or the airport.

That ends our Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca.
